Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies and browser local storage (`localStorage`) are small data entries stored by your web browser on your device to remember your preferences and support website functionality.

2. Essential Technical Storage

We use a technical local storage entry (`toolbox_cookie_consent_v1`) strictly to remember your choice on our cookie consent banner.

3. Advertising Cookies, Google Consent Mode v2 & Certified CMP

When Google AdSense advertising is enabled, Google and its certified partners may set or read cookies on your browser to deliver relevant advertisements, prevent repetitive ads, and measure ad performance.

In accordance with Google requirements for the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, a custom cookie banner does not replace a Google-certified CMP. When serving ads to EEA/UK/CH visitors, we utilize a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (IAB TCF v2.2) integrated with Google Consent Mode v2, which defaults `ad_storage`, `ad_user_data`, `ad_personalization`, and `analytics_storage` to `denied` until explicit user consent is obtained.

4. Managing or Disabling Cookies

You can delete existing cookies or block third-party cookies at any time via your browser's Privacy & Security settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). All local file tools on Toolbox continue to function normally even if third-party cookies are disabled.
